At CogniSphere LLC, we want you to be completely satisfied with our AI-powered Chrome extension. This refund policy explains when and how you can request a refund for your Pro subscription.

2. Free Trial Policy

All new Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial when they first sign up for CogniSphere Pro ($2.00/month). During this trial period:

  • You have full access to all Pro features
  • You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period
  • You can cancel anytime during the trial without any charges
  • If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for your Pro subscription
  • Trial periods are limited to one per user and cannot be extended

3. Pro Subscription Refunds

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for Pro subscriptions. You can request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription charge if:

  • You are not satisfied with the Pro features
  • You experience technical issues that we cannot resolve

Partial Refunds

Immediate cancellations within 24 hours receive a full refund. If you cancel your Lifetime Pro subscription within 24 hours of purchase, you will receive a complete refund of your payment with no usage charges deducted.

Lifetime Pro Refund Calculation

For cancellations after the 24-hour grace period, the refund amount for Lifetime Pro subscriptions is calculated as follows:

Refund Amount = Paid Amount - (Used Months × $2.00/month)

*First 24 hours are free - usage calculation starts after grace period

  • Paid Amount: The original amount you paid for Lifetime Pro (typically $30)
  • Grace Period: First 24 hours are completely free - no usage charges apply
  • Used Months: Number of complete months since the 24-hour grace period ended
  • Monthly Rate: $2.00/month (equivalent to our regular Pro subscription price)

Lifetime Pro Refund Examples

Example 1: Refund within 24 hours (Grace Period)

  • Paid Amount: $30
  • Cancellation: 12 hours after purchase
  • Usage Charge: $0 (within grace period)
  • Refund: $30 (Full refund)

Example 2: Refund after 2 months

  • Paid Amount: $30
  • Used: 2 months × $2.00 = $4.00 (grace period excluded)
  • Refund: $30 - $4.00 = $26.00

Example 3: Refund after 12 months

  • Paid Amount: $30
  • Used: 12 months × $2.00 = $24.00 (grace period excluded)
  • Refund: $30 - $24.00 = $6.00

Example 4: Refund after 15+ months

  • Paid Amount: $30
  • Used: 15 months × $2.00 = $30.00 (equals paid amount)
  • Refund: $0 (break-even point reached)

How to Request Lifetime Pro Refund

Lifetime Pro users can request refunds in two ways:

  1. Through Dashboard (Recommended): Log into your account dashboard and click the "Request Refund" button next to your Lifetime Pro subscription. The system will automatically calculate your refund amount and process the request.
  2. Email Support: Contact support@cognisphere.me with your account details and refund request.

Lifetime Pro Refund Processing

  • Automatic Processing: Most refunds are processed automatically within minutes
  • Manual Review: Some cases may require manual review (3-5 business days)
  • Minimum Refund: We only process refunds of $5 or more
  • Account Status: Your Lifetime Pro access will be revoked after refund approval

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

  • After the 30-day money-back guarantee period has expired (for monthly subscriptions)
  • For unused AI queries or features
  • If your account has been terminated for violations of our Terms and Conditions

8. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
